Joe Stanbury, President Wind River Development, Inc. 

Like many on the WRD board, Joe follows in the footsteps of his father, Sam Stanbury, one of the founding members of WRD.  Both Joe and his father believe in the goal of WRD to promote economic development in Riverton.  Joe, a lifelong resident of Riverton with the exception of the time spent at Montana State University, returned home to work and then assume the reigns of the family business, Riverton Tire & Oil.  Joe along with his wife, Rose have raised their children and are now blessed with 12 grandchildren.  Joe is and has served on many boards to include Riverton Country Club, Community Entry Service, First Interstate Bank Advisory Board and St. Margaret’s Catholic School.  The vision of the founding fathers of WRD still rings true in Joe, help other to succeed.

Mike Martin, Past President 

Mike Martin, President of Wind River Development, has a long history in Riverton of community improvement and development.  Born and raised in Riverton he owned and managed A.D. Martin Lumber from 1987 to 2014 when he retired and commenced full time volunteer work.   Some organizations that he is/was involved in are Riverton Lions, Riverton Chamber of Commerce, The Depot Foundation, Riverton Railroaders, North American Indian Heritage Center, Fremont Crime Stoppers, Riverton Memorial Hospital, Riverton Ice Hockey Association, Citizens for Youth, RHS Class President and organizers of class reunions for ’79, ’89, ’99, ’09, ‘& ’19, Riverton Country Club, Riverton REACH Club, and Mountain View Cemetery District.   Mike has served on multiple boards both locally and regionally and been on the Wind River Development Board since 1995.

On the personal side, Mike has been married for 47 years, has three great children, graduated from University of Wyoming and is committed “to making Riverton a great place to live”.

Val Reinke, Vice President

Val started in banking in 1978 as a Loan Officer staying in the Riverton lending arena until his retirement 42 years later as a Branch President at Central Bank and Trust.  Val has committed many hours volunteering and serving in leadership positions with Riverton Jaycees, Riverton Lions Club, Riverton Chamber of Commerce and Wind River Development.  Val believes in Riverton and all the possibilities of committing to the future growth through small businesses.

Jay Reddon, CPA, Treasurer

Jay is the managing director of Reddon, Koehn & Associates CPAs PC.   Jay is third generation Fremont County resident and strives to improve the local area and economy utilizing over 30 years’ experience advising the small business community whether it being involved in community organizations, advising many small business clients or conducting his own personal business interests.  Jay has been married to his wife, Jill, for 35 years, has 2 accomplished, married children and 4 grandchildren, all of which reside, work and play in Fremont County.

Rick & Josephine Gilpatrick, Co-Secretaries

Rick & Josephine, Co-Secretaries of the organization, are long time residents and cheerleaders for Riverton.  They have/had multiple commercial business working both locally and on the State level.   They, individual and jointly, have served in several capacities in a plethora of organizations and State agencies, some of which are: Wyoming Associated General Contractors, Riverton Rotary Club/District 5440 Rotary International, Wyoming School Facilities Commission, Riverton Memorial Hospital Board, Community Health Centers of Central Wyoming Board,  Wyoming Girl Scouts,  and Wyoming National Guard.  They believe strongly in investing time, energy, compassion and concern in the community of Riverton so that it may prosper, move forward and succeed.   We all need to give in order to receive.

Jeff McMenamy Director

Jeff McMenamy is the CEO of Teton Therapy PC, a private practice outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy company with several clinics located through out Wyoming.  Jeff and his family arrived in Riverton in 1996.   Originally from Minnesota, he and his wife graduated from the University of North Dakota.   Jeff started as a sole proprietor in Riverton in 2001 which continues to be his company’s home base.   It is the people and opportunities of Wyoming that keeps him and his family wanting to live here.   “I am invested in maintaining small business opportunities here in Wyoming.”

Mark Sehnert, Director

Mark has over 53 years as an owner, operator, estimator, project developer, designer, manager and  customer relations of his own construction/crane/lifting company based in Riverton.   His is a Union Master Carpenter; and a Union Boilermaker Machinist and Field Steward.  A member of  American Society of Professional Estimators.   He has and continues to service in many capacities in community service for The Riverton Railroaders, Riverton Jaycees, Riverton Contractor Board of Appeals, Riverton Planning Commission, Trustee for the Riverton Elk Lodge,   and a REACH board member/liasion for Sempiternal and Senior Rentals.

Mark is a conscious contributor to making Riverton a vibrant and progressive community.

Kristine Anderson, Director

Kris is a native of Riverton with a vested interest in Riverton’s economic health.  Kris is the daughter of WRDC’s founder, carrying the legacy set forth by her father – economic development is the key to ensuring Riverton remains a vital community.   A graduate of the University of Wyoming, she taught school in Fremont County for 32 years and is certified as a Reading Recovery and Math Recovery instructor.  Kris serves on the City Panning Commission, has organized her class reunions, was a member of Riverton Railroaders and raised 2 amazing children.  She believes that investing in our community will keep Riverton Strong.

Randy Lehman, Director

Randy grew up in RIverton and is a graduate of Riverton High School, Central Wyoming College and the University of Wyoming with a degree in business.  His father, Herb Lehman, was one of the original members of WRD and always spoke of the positive impact on economic development that WRD had in Riverton and Fremont County.  Randy has served in many capacities in several organizations including Riverton Jaycees, Riverton Rendezvous, Riverton Chamber of Commerce and Wyoming Professional Photographers Association.   Randy, like his father, enjoys the positive financial impact WRD has on the economic development of Riverton.

Mike Becker, Director

Mike is a lifelong resident of Riverton.   Mike has served the community for many years volunteering on various committees and by coaching youth and high school sports.  Mike served on the RYSA Board, the Riverton Chamber of Commerce and Wind River Development.   Mike is the owner of Gales Carpet One in Riverton and Altitude Interiors in Lander.  He has a strong commitment to Riverton ad all the wonderful possibilities that the community  has to offer.   He believes in Riverton, its residents and the small businesses that thrive here.

Sandy Luers, Director

Sandy has lived in Riverton most of her life, attended Riverton Schools and has a B.A. from the University of Wyoming.   She has been married to a Fremont County native for 53 years and they have three boys, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Sandy has been involved in the community in many capacities.  She worked for and helped manage a construction company for over 30 years and was Community Development Director/Building Official for the City of Riverton for nine years.  Sandy served on the Riverton Board of Appeals; four years on the Riverton City Council; and the Wyoming Board of Building Officials.  Volunteering towards the betterment of our community is very important to her.   Sandy has volunteered for Riverton Railroaders (Chamber), Riverton Winter Carnival, Riverton Rendezvous, first woman president of the Riverton Kiwanis Club/Kiwanis International, Fremont County Republican Women, Wyoming Federation of Republican Women and National Federation of Republican Women.  Sandy has been on the Wind River Development Board since 2006 and believes it is a great organization to be involved with, helping our community move forward.
